Though there were technical difficulties at the beginning of his set, Ocean made a grand solo showing this year, starting with a cover of Bob Dylan’s Long Time Gone before moving into Nostalgia, Ultra hits Thinking Bout You, Novacane, Love Crime, Swim Good, and Strawberry Swing.
For the Frank Ocean heads that have been following the singer’s every note, he proved that he can sound as good live, as he does in the studio with new tunes Whip Appeal, Voodoo & White. Representing the OFWGKTA, Ocean invited Odd Future’s head honcho Tyler the Creator on stage for a bit of Odd Future antics before the phenom opened up into Analog 2 from the Odd Future Tape Vol. 2. All told, the new artist put on quite a show, proving he’ll be a force for years to come.

According to TMZ News reports West Coast Hip Hop Legend Death of Nate Dogg won’t keep him from performing at this years 2012 Coachella. Some may ask Who is Nate Dogg? Big Nate Dawg is one of Hip Hop hottest vocalist featuring on nearly all of west coast hottest music featuring songs with Snoop dogg, Dr. Dre, 213, Tupac Shakur, and the list goes on. The Death of Nate Dogg hurt the hip hop community. This weekend Nate Dogg is set to perform in hologram on Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s Music set of Coachella’s Sunday Performace. According to sources, Nate dogg will perform severak songs along side with Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Warren G, and Daz Dillinger.
Sources tell us, Dr. Dre didn’t want to leave Nate out of his Sunday performance — so he’s incorporating his old friend using hologram technology … the same technology that broadcast Mariah Carey’s image across Europe last year … at 5 simultaneous concerts.
We’re told an image of Nate will be projected onto the Coachella stage — alongside Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Warren G, and Daz Dillinger — to make it appear as though he’s actually performing on stage.
